The mission The Purple Heart is to foster an environment of goodwill and camaraderie among combat wounded veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all veterans and their families.

Roadrunner Elementary School Marana, AZ held a wonderful Veterans Day program this AM to honor veterans. Patriot Dyer and Patriot Moore attended the school program and then spoke in Ms. Gingrich's 5th grade class.

Ft. Lowell Chapter 442 provided a Purple Heart for the urn of Glen N.Wormwood Pvt. USMC (WIA July19, 1919) at today's Missing In America Project burial at the AZ State Veterans Cemetery Marana. Patriot Slocum and Patriot Gilbert escorted the cremains.

We welcome all persons of good moral character who are awarded the Purple Heart Medal by the Government of the United States AND are Active Duty or have Honorable or General discharge are eligible for active membership in the Military Order of the Purple Heart of the U.S.A.

Requirements

Purple Heart

Living veterans or activity duty personnel who have been award the Purple Heart. 

Documentation

DD214 Member-4 or Service-2 with Purple Heart Award AND Honorable or General discharge  OR

DD215 (if Purple Heart Award, Honorable or General discharge is not on DD214)
