Our mission is to foster an environment of goodwill and camaraderie among combat wounded veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all veterans and their families.

Helen Anderson Glass, WWII Vet/Ladies Auxiliary member has been spending her time during the COVID shutdown making Purple Heart COVID masks. They will be available at Chapter 442's meetings. Variety of sizes and shapes. Thank you Helen!

Commander Byers, the Department Leadership Team, Chapter 793, & Chapter 442 supported the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall in Benson, AZ this weekend. It was a wonderful event and well attended by area veterans.

We welcome all persons of good moral character who are awarded the Purple Heart Medal by the Government of the United States AND are Active Duty or have Honorable or General discharge are eligible for active membership in the Military Order of the Purple Heart of the U.S.A.

Requirements

Purple Heart

Living veterans or activity duty personnel who have been award the Purple Heart. 

Documentation

DD214 Member-4 or Service-2 with Purple Heart Award AND Honorable or General discharge  OR

DD215 (if Purple Heart Award, Honorable or General discharge is not on DD214)
